Pastor Ronald Thomas is a dynamic preacher and teacher who believes in Apostolic authority and serving God in Excellence. Pastor Thomas served in the U.S. Army and also as a Corrections Officer with the State of Nevada. After serving his country and community, God called and anointed Pastor Thomas for His service and he served in various aspects of ministry including: Youth Coordinator, Sunday School teacher, Higher Christian Education instructor, Pulpit Coordinator and Head Usher. He also established a greeter’s committee, served as Director of a very powerful outreach team, volunteered as a HOPE Chaplain at University Medical Center, assisted in establishing the Jammin’ for Jesus Homeless Ministry (Las Vegas Chapter), expanded the growth of two convalescent ministries, and founded the Reconciliation Prison Ministry.
After this service, the Lord positioned him to found Reconciliation Apostolic Ministries, Inc. where he was ordained in October of 1996 as an Elder with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), 25th Episcopal District in the State of Nevada. In October 2000, Pastor Thomas was ordained as a District Elder and on July 17, 2004, Pastor Thomas was again elevated and ordained as Overseer with the Next Generation Fellowship Ministries of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Pastor Ronald Thomas is a certified instructor for BOSS: The Movement, a youth program designed to equip young people with spiritual principles coupled with entrepreneurial skills to birth their God-given dreams into reality. In December 2004, he completed the doctorate course with Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary receiving his PhD in Religious Philosophy.
Dr. Ron Thomas was the lead instructor for the REACH Program, a Culinary Training Academy professional career development training program which teaches conflict resolution, leadership, business writing and other aspects of professional development, for a HARRAH’S corporation property and all the MGM properties on the Las Vegas Strip. He was the lead supervisor of Job Developers and Staffing Consultants for Nevada Partners, a state workforce development agency responsible for employment training and job placement, where he facilitated employment trainings, employability workshop and provided customized training to employers.
Dr. Ron Thomas is currently the Suffragan Bishop of the Nevada District Council 25th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and the author of the book Life’s Interruptions. He is happily married to Evangelist Jennifer Thomas and the couple share a blended family of seven gifted and talented children that are musicians, singers and artists; Jamia, Renard, Aaron, Jimmel, Markeisha, Josiah, Ronald as well as ten beautiful grandchildren, Tristan, Aaron Jr., Christian, Miyah, Rimadee, Noah, Jayden, Zion, Jordan and Brielle.
